New School Building

We are bursting at the seams at Mills River SDA School and are raising funds for an additional school building. Want to join us in making a difference? Your donation can help make a huge impact. We started out as a small 2 teacher school, with 13 students eleven years ago. It was a great act of faith for a tiny church to support such a large endeavor. We have been growing and growing and growing ever since. We are up to four teachers, an aide, four tutors and 50 students.

Our philosophy of educating the whole person includes a strong program spiritually, mentally, and physically. Our students have high achievement on standardized tests because of strong literacy instruction and rigorous mathematics. They benefit from project based learning. Some of the highlights consist of Spanish class, bell choir, signing choir, guitar lessons, fine arts, and community outreach. The close family atmosphere is an inclusive environment for optimal learning. Our unique student to teacher ratio allows us to meet students' individual needs.

Unfortunately, we have been forced to turn students away because we don't have room and currently have a waiting list. We are in desperate need of more space, especially since we are offering face to face learning during these uncertain times, when virtual learning is becoming a new normal.

Thanks in advance for your generous contribution to this cause that means so much to our students and community.
